ACNE - Danné or Combination treatment

Acne has four contributing, etiologic factors:

Acne is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the pilosebaceous unit which is characterised by comedomes (primary lesion) macules, papules, pustules and (at times) cysts and scars. The pilosebaceous unit consists of the hair shaft, the hair follicle, the sebaceous gland which makes sebum, and the erector pili muscle which causes the hair to stand up when it contracts

Treatment

After consultation and various patch tests a treatment plan will be worked out for the individual. Often with Acne a combination of treatments give the best and quickest results.
